Our Wonderful World
This term Swans Class will be travelling the globe.
Our geography focused topic will allow the children to investigate what geography is. Understanding such terms as human and physical geography, biomes, longitude and latitude. Our focus will be on the American continent, looking at the different biomes, countries, and some of the different peoples and customs.
How do we hear?
This is the question the children will be investigating this half term. We will try to be quiet and listen to the sounds around us, understanding the differences between pitch and volume and various objects that make sounds. This will allow the children to understand how sound travels and how we hear. It will also involve string and paper cups, can you guess what we will be making!
