This week we have been learning how to multiply using arrays and repeated addition. In English we are improving our instructions on how to catch something. In the afternoons during our Quest time we have been making Chinese Money Envelopes, lanterns and even some Chinese writing. We found out what animal of the Chinese Zodiac we were born in. If you want to know yours pop into our classroom and have a look on our chart.
On Friday we had a fire alarm, the children responded so well and we all evacuated the building safely. Thank you for all the parents who were patient and we apologise that children didn’t have their book bags and things to take home. We didn’t want to go back in the school until the Fire Service said it was safe to do so. Therefore we will extend the home learning and carry it over for a week. Mrs Beeby will be busy on Monday sorting the book bags and home learning and spelling. We appreciate all your support with this.
